Phase 5 - starting to come together

Its been a while since I posted anything on the rebuild.....How time flies!!! The resto was delayed due to the spray shop relocating premises, christmas, ecetera, ecetera, ecetera - lucky I am in no real hurry!! Anyway as you will now see tools are up'd again and she is once again starting to take the shape of a car. the guys are doing a totally pedantic job and those lines are looking spot on. The body has been rubbed down, spray fillered, rubbed down again and is now being epoxy primered ready for the final primer coat.

Phase 4 - blasted, primed and waiting for parts (6 boxes of parts now arrived from US)

The car has now been sandblasted and primed to protect prior to body parts arriving from US.

Phase 3 - ALL OFF

All the bad bits off (and some good bits), engine and transmission separated and cleaned up

Now out in Belgium being stripped down, soon it'll be off to the sandblasters.

I thought about buying one of these beauties 2 years ago but ended up buying a TVR Tuscan instead (no regrets there), the TVR is an AWESOME car. Happily I purchased 'Maurice' in October 2006 with the intention of giving total soul back to the car. As you will see over the coming months/years it is going to have a total restoration and I will gradually be posting pictures up as it is bought back to its full glory and once again graces the roads with a deep V8 growl.
